Well this day came round quickly. Today was my A-Level Results Day. Surprisingly I hadn’t felt much anxiety or nerves over it which I think is because I could no longer do anything about it, I’d done all of the hard work it was out of my hands, I’d get what I deserve.
I couldn’t explain how happy I was when at 8 in the morning I refreshed UCAS Track to see that both my places for my Firm and Insurance choices had been accepted. I was so relieved that I was definitely gong to Uni. I’d had nightmares of having to spending another year at college resitting my A-Levels. I couldn’t have thought of anything worse. I’d felt a massive weight off my shoulders just from checking Track.
I then drove to college to pick my actual results up. Although I knew that my place was confirmed I still had a little bit of nerves about opening that envelope. I was really pleased with my results though, I got a B in both English Language and Philosophy of Religion and a C in English Literature and in my EPQ. I am so shocked with the grade I got in Philosophy as that is the exam that I felt like I’d done the worst in, I didn’t have a lot of belief that I’d pass it- BUT I DID!!!!
I’m just so happy, I can’t wait to get to Uni now, I’m so excited. I also can’t wait to enjoy the next few weeks without the stress of results day and before everything starts. I don’t actually think I’ve mentioned it but I’ll be doing a degree in English (combined Literature and Language).
To celebrate my results we went on a little shopping trip to Warrington where I mainly got things for my birthday (next week, woo!) but also got a couple of gorgeous presents for my results. One being the stunning Too Faced Love Palette, I’d never heard of this before I saw it, I just presumed it’d got overlooked by the more well known chocolate bar palettes but I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. The shades are just gorgeous, the presentation of the product, the packaging- everything was perfect! I can’t wait to have a play around with the shades in this and I’ll have plenty opportunity too in the next few weeks. If you’d like a proper look at this palette the link is here.
This is the Dazzling Daisy Band Ring from the Rose Gold range in Pandora. This was love at first sight. I’d tried on a few and nothing felt quite right until I put this on and I knew it was exactly what I wanted. It is so delicate and I just love how it looks on, the link to this is also here if you’d like a proper look at it.
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed my results day chat and the mini haul. If you had results I hope they were amazing and you got exactly what you wanted. Thank you again!
