For my birthday I got a few vouchers for various shops and some birthday money so on Monday myself and the family took a trip to Liverpool One to do some shopping. I thought I’d share what I bought as I got some really nice things…
This is the main purchase that I made in Liverpool, I bought my first Urban Decay Naked palette. I can’t believe I haven’t got one until now! I was umming and ahhing over which one to get as I hadn’t thought about it until I was stood at the counter. I decided on the third Naked palette because I know I’ll use near enough every shade, they’re all my kind of colours which I would wear on a daily basis. I used my Liverpool One voucher to buy this in Debenhams for £39.50.
Jacob treated me to a few bits in Superdrug which I was planning to get with my voucher. I got my all time favourite face mask which is the L’oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask, I’ve just emptied one pot and I knew I’d need to rebuy it so I can’t wait to start this new one. This was £8 from Superdrug.
I also got this Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste, I’m so apprehensive about teeth whitening but this was quite cheap as it was from the Superdrug own range. I really liked the packaging and the whole concept of it so couldn’t resist, this was priced at £2.99. I’m sorry that this photo is different to the others, I couldn’t wait to use it so had to open it before I’d done the blog photos, soz.
You may have seen this in one of my previous hauls (which you can read here) I just love this scent. It’s a Yankee Candle tart in the scent My Serenity which is so calming and such a lovely smell. I rarely buy it which makes me appreciate it even more, this was 89p from Clintons.
In Clintons at the moment there is a bin of Tsum Tsums reduced to 99p, I have the majority of them so rarely find something new but I found Lilo from Lilo and Stitch which I didn’t have so couldn’t resist.
I also got this cute little notebook which was reduced to £1 in Clintons, I think this is so cute, I love the colours and the gold writing which says ‘Stay True’. When I opened it after I bought it I realised that it was squares rather than lines, it will still come in handy and I’ll still use it.
I got a voucher for WHSmiths so I decided to get two books from the Zoella book club selection, I do love a good YA book. I got Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu which is all about a girl revolution/feminism, I can’t wait to read this it looks so so good! I also got Girlhood by Cat Clarke which seems to be a book about friendship, this is another book that I can’t wait to read. These were buy one get one half price, so it came to around £12 altogether.
I’ve been trying to up my photography on my blog recently, I need to invest in a nice camera! However, I saw a medium sized tripod in Primark for £4 which I thought would come in handy when I’m batch taking photos.
I got some Nike Pro leggings for my birthday and I had already bought myself a Nike vest top to give myself some motivation to start working out and get healthier. I nipped into Sports Direct in Liverpool One to look for a sports bra to match. Luckily I can buy kids tops so got it for a lot cheaper, I got an all black one with a small white Nike tick. I got it in age 13 for £14.
I got a gorgeous Build a Bear rabbit for my birthday so bought it an outfit in Liverpool. These Care Bear pyjamas are so gorgeous, they look so cute on the rabbit and were in the sale for only £5!
I also had a New Look voucher so bought myself a gorgeous dusty pink jacket, I can’t find it on the website and it’s currently in the wash, however it is very similar to this phone I have included just without the frilly sleeves. I thought this was stunning, it’d be really nice for the transition from summer to autumn as it isn’t too heavy but isn’t thin. This was in the sale for £14.
I also bought myself these pyjamas which are so blooming cute. The shorts have a gingham pattern on them with a red bow, I’m loving gingham at the moment so I fell in love with them. The top is on another level though, those bell sleeves are to die for as is the rose detail and the slogan ‘Weekend Vibes’ across the front. I haven’t stopped wearing these, I had to part with them today as they needed washing, they fit so nice and I’m just in love with them. These were in the sale for £6!
Thank you so so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed seeing what I’d bought in Liverpool. I should hopefully have an 18th birthday haul coming soon, it’s taking me longer than I thought but it’ll be up soon!
