My Favourite Face Masks

I am a massive lover of face masks. There’s something so therapeutic about putting on a face mask at night, snuggling up with a big mug of tea and watching a film. I’d like to describe that as my happy place. I’ve tried quite a lot of different face masks, some really do not work for me at all, like peel off masks, they make my skin feel disgusting. As a result of trying quite a lot I’ve discovered some really amazing ones so I thought I’d share a few of my favourites…

  • Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Pore-Refining Sheet Mask

This is a recent find after I received one for my birthday (I hauled it here). I hyped this up for myself as I’m a massive fan of a lot of Soap and Glory products and love the diversity of them all. They seem to get it so right with everything, there are few brands that can make an amazing makeup range, bath and skincare products. Anyway, I was apprehensive about keeping this on for 20 minutes and the sheet mask seemed quite big however I had nothing to complain about once it was on. It felt amazing, my skin felt soothed straight away. When I took it off after 20 minutes I rubbed in any excess product and my skin just felt amazing, at this time my skin had been quite bad with a few spots and rough patches. The week after I used this though my skin cleared up and felt so much smoother. I’m definitely going to repurchase this, it is £3.50 from Boots (you can sometimes get it for buy one get one half price which is such a good deal!).

  • L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Detox Face Mask

Out of all of the masks I’ve included this is my all time favourite, if you’re going to try one try this one. This is the best in terms of value for money as well, at the moment it is £8 in Superdrug but frequently goes on offer and it lasts for so long, even for me who uses it without a doubt around 3 times a week. The results that I get from this mask is just incredible, I feel like my skin gets completely cleansed and cleaned by this mask, it does give your skin such an amazing detox. I will never not rebuy this, I’m already onto my second pot (which I hauled here), I could never not use it!

  • L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Glow Face Mask

This is from the same range as the Detox mask and the same goes for this one in terms of the value for money, you get so much product for the money and it does go on offer. I bought this after I’d tried the Detox mask as I expected it to be the same but with a different effect. However the first time I applied it I was pleasantly surprised as it felt like a face scrub/exfoliant as it had bits in it. I’ve never used a scrub/exfoliator as I’m dead apprehensive about how my skin would react so I was very worried about this. But I just love this, I like to think this does exfoliate my skin and makes it look so much smoother but also provides such a nice natural glow. I highly recommend multi masking with the Detox and Glow mask if you’re like me and only get random blemishes.

  • Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask

This is my second favourite mask however I do have a bug bear with the price as it’s full price is £3 which I would never pay for it, I buy it when it is reduced to £1, which it frequently is. I personally don’t think it’s worth £3. This is amazing though, I love the whole Garnier Moisture Bomb range. This is a really good mask for hydrating your skin whilst also making your complexion that little bit brighter and smoother.

  • Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot 2 in 1 Wash Mask

This was the first face mask that I ever used which I suppose is why I hold it quite close to my heart. This is really good value for money as it is a 2 in 1 so not only can it be used for a mask, it can also be used as a face wash, I think this is amazing and is why it would be such a good product to have in your collection for when you start off using skincare products. Not only is it inexpensive and good value for money, it is a saviour for when I have spotty skin. As it states in the name, it does make your skin visibly clearer.

  • Superdrug Tea Tree Deep Cleansing Mud Mask

For a drugstore’s own face mask, this is amazing. Especially considering it is only 99p! The tea tree and peppermint in this makes it so refreshing and calming, this one has a real spa like effect because of the gorgeous smell. When you take this off your face feels so much cleaner, it does draw out all the dirt and impurities from your skin. I have quite oily skin and this is the best mask that I’ve used for it, I feel like it does also draw out the excess oil from my skin. This another mask that is such good value for money!

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it and got some inspiration for some new face masks that you definitely need! If you have any suggestions that I haven’t mentioned do let me know!
