Eyewake Hydrating Eye Serum Review

I was ever so lucky enough to be gifted this Eyewake Hydrting Eye Serum to review. This looks and sounds amazing. The thing that I love most about the product and brand is that they work in partnership with Woman’s Aid, for every serum sold a donation is made to help victims of domestic violence, which is just incredible. I’m so glad to be working with a brand who supports such an amazing cause. Another thing that I love about this product is that it’s unisex so anyone can use it.

This serum claims to reduce dark circles and puffiness due to the cucumber and elderflower in it which awakens and soothes any puffiness. It also includes Vitamin E which is an antioxidant that moisturises the skin.

Not only can you use the product for your eye area, you can also apply this to your cheeks, forehead and lips. It can also act as a primer for makeup which I will definitely be testing out.

The thing that I love most about this serum is the gel like consistency, I’ve only ever used eye creams so I wasn’t sure how I’d take to the serum but I loved the consistency of it. It was really moisturising and soothing under the eye, you could genuinely feel it working when you’d apply it, especially at night when it was left to soak in overnight. Some eye creams that I’ve used have been heavy or feel cloggy under the eyes but this didn’t at all, it was really lightweight in that area.

I could definitely tell a difference in my under eye area- it felt moisturised and I saw a difference in the appearance of my dark circles and puffiness. As a result of this, I saw a difference in how my foundation and concealer sat in that area, it definitely didn’t crease as much.

I’m a huge fan of the packaging of the serum. One pump is more than enough for both under eyes which means you’re not wasting any product. It’s also a lot more hygienic than dipping your fingers into a tub.

This has now become part of my everyday skincare routine and will definitely stay there!

I tested it as a serum on my skin overnight focusing on my cheeks, forehead and lips as advised on the bottle. I felt like it was really moisturising and that my skin absorbed it straight away. I was impressed with how it acted as a face serum as well as an eye serum. I’m yet to have tried it as a primer so can’t comment on how it acts as that.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed seeing what I thought of this eye serum. Thank you again to Eyewake for sending me this product, I’m so grateful. You can buy the serum on Amazon here.

I received these products complimentary for testing purposes however all opinions are my own.
