I’m currently meant to be saving for my new car buuuut myself and my Mumma went on a little shopping trip and I couldn’t resist picking up a few bits. Whilst I was shopping all I could think about was hauling them all for you so here we are and let’s get into it…
Too Faced White Chocolate Chip Eyeshadow Palette £16.99
The day before we went shopping I saw this on the TKMaxx website and debated buying it but I’m not one for online shopping, I like to see something IRL before purchasing it. So when I nipped into TKMaxx and saw it I literally squealed with excitement. I was so happy that I picked this up as I don’t have any of the smaller chocolate palettes or the white chocolate one. I love the size of it, the shades, the packaging and the iconic cocoa smell. Plus it was only £16.99 which is an insane price! My only criticism is that this wasn’t sealed so anyone could have had this out swatching it etc. I am in the process of doing a first impressions of this palette as I love doing them for new palettes that come into my collection, so keep your eyes pealed for that…
Home Bargains Rose & Lavender Fizzing Bath Bombs 59p
I was intending on buying a couple of bath bombs in Lush but it was closed so I was gutted! We nipped into Home Bargains for a mooch on the way home and I saw these so thought I’d give them a try. I’ve not got too high expectations for only 59p but I’ll try and post on my Insta stories what they’re like.
Batiste Oriental Dry Shampoo £1.39
I’m a busy gal (which you’ll know if you’ve read my Week In The Life) and I rely on the life saver that is Batiste quite a lot. It’s really freshening and gives my hair a nice boost. I don’t really have a preference over which Batiste I use so I pick up whichever they have in stock and whichever is cheapest. I’ve never seen this Oriental one before but it was the only one that they had in store.
PS.. Eyeshadow in Champagne Flute 50p
I always have a nosey in the makeup section in Primark although I only really pick things up if they’re in the sale. They’ve started doing single eyeshadow pans and this one was on offer for 50p so I thought I’d pick it up as it looked like a really pretty shade. It’s a pinky gold shade which’ll look really nice on it’s own blended all over the lid for a natural, pretty look. I’ve started to really like single eyeshadows but it doesn’t lessen my love for eyeshadow palettes.
Fierce and Female Pencil Case £1
I NEED to stop buying stationary as now that I’m no longer a student I don’t really have as much use for it all. But this and the next two purchases are exceptions as I really couldn’t resist. This pencil case is right up my street, it’s going to live on my bedside table as I tend to do a lot of blog writing and paperwork in my bed (aka soft office). This was reduced to £1 from £3 which I thought was a really good price. This was from Primark.
Girl Power Notebook £1
This is in the same stationary range as the above pencil case and was also reduced to £1 from £2.50. I love the design of this notebook, it’ll be perfect for blog notes or as a journal and is, exactly like the pencil case, right up my street. This was also from Primark, their stationary game is mad at the moment!
Peace Pen 50p
I love a good novelty pen, they’re my weakness! Primark always have good novelty pens in and this one I just couldn’t resist. This was also reduced from 90p to 50p, I love the peace sign and the fluff, it’s just fab.
Space Pyjamas £10
I’d been looking for a nice pair of pyjamas for a few days before I got these and couldn’t find any that I really liked. These I just instantly fell in love with, the pattern reminds me of my tattoo and the fit is exactly what I like. The top says ‘I Need More Space’ which is just brilliant haha. I will definitely get my use out of these.
Nickelodeon Pyjama Hoodie £5
I grew up on Nickelodeon as a kid so when I saw this I knew that I had to have it. This is a hoodie which I assume is nightwear as it was in the pyjama section. It’s slightly cropped so I got a Medium which is perfect as it’s loose but still comfortable and not too big. The design on the front is so cool, I wish I could wear this outside haha! This was reduced to £5.
Love Struck T Shirt £5
I love a good slogan tee. I wasn’t too impressed by the selection of t-shirts in Primark this time and this was the only one that stood out to me. It’s a fitted white t-shirt which was ‘Love Struck’ embroidered on it with a little lightning bolt, I love this design. I got this in a size 8 but I could have got away with a size up as it’s quite fitted. This was only £5.
New Look Dress £22.99
I have a wedding to attend in about three weeks and I’ve been on the hunt for a perfect dress for the occasion. I saw this in New Look and fell in love straight away, I think this is absolutely beautiful and is perfect for a wedding but also perfect for summertime. The floral pattern is gorgeous and the cut is lovely, I also love the belt at the waist to make it look a bit more flattering. I got 20% off with student discount so it was a bit cheaper and I got this in a size 8.
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this little haul and keep your eye out for a post giving my first impressions on the Too Faced palette…
